Who we are
dangermma.com (the “Site”) is a career tribute to retired UFC flyweight Matt “Danger” Schnell. The Site is owned and operated by Ring Media Group LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the Site, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Questions about this policy or your data can go to info@dangermma.com. (This mailbox is still being set up, so messages may not be delivered yet.)
Information we collect
Information you send us
The contact form on the Site does not send anything to our servers. When you press “Send Message”, it opens your own email app with a pre-filled message addressed to info@dangermma.com. If you send that email, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write. We use it only to read and reply to your message, and we keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting and security logs. Our hosting provider (Base44) processes standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time. This is needed to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse.
- Your cookie choice. When you answer the cookie banner, we save your choice in your browser’s local storage (key
dm_consent) so that we don’t ask again on every page. It never leaves your device. - Advertising cookies and identifiers. If ads are shown, Google and its partners may collect information as described in the next section.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not ask you to create an account.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We use (or may use) Google AdSense, an advertising service of Google LLC, to show ads on the Site. Ads help pay for the Site.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie and related cookies on doubleclick.net and other Google domains, enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Google and its partners may also use web beacons, IP addresses, and device identifiers to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance, and prevent fraud.
- Other third-party ad technology vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on the Site and use cookies. Google lists the vendors it commonly works with in its ad technology providers list.
Personalized ads and how to opt out
You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at any time in Google Ads Settings (My Ad Center). You can opt out of many other vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices (US) or www.youronlinechoices.eu (EU/UK). If you opt out or reject cookies, you may still see non-personalized ads. Those are based on things like the page you are reading and your general location, and they may still use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and fraud prevention.

Cookies and your consent choices
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to pass your choice to Google’s tags:
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalization, and analytics storage are set to denied by default. Personalized ads and the related cookies are used only after you click “Accept”. Where Google’s own consent message (a Google-certified consent management platform using the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) is shown, it records your choices for Google and its partners.
- Everywhere else: you can click “Reject” to turn off personalized ads and non-essential cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of personalized advertising.
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may then not work as intended.
Analytics
We do not currently use Google Analytics or any other analytics or tracking service on the Site. If we add one later, we will update this policy first. Analytics will run only as allowed by your consent choice (Consent Mode “analytics storage”).
Embedded content and other services
- YouTube. Video sections show a preview image stored on our own server. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click play. The player then loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube/Google receive your IP address and device information and may set cookies under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Fonts. The Site’s fonts (Anton, Oswald and Inter, all open-source) are hosted on our own server, so loading them does not send your information to Google Fonts or any other font provider.
- Links. Links to Instagram, UFC.com and other sites take you to services we don’t control, and their own privacy policies apply.
Your privacy rights
EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)
We rely on your consent for advertising cookies and personalized ads, and on our legitimate interests for running and securing the Site and replying to messages you send us. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect earlier processing). You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
California and other US states (CCPA/CPRA and similar laws)
In the past 12 months, the categories of personal information that may be collected through the Site are: identifiers (such as IP address, cookie IDs, and, if you email us, your name and email address), internet or network activity (pages viewed, interactions with ads), and approximate location derived from IP address. They are used for the purposes described above. We do not sell personal information for money. Allowing Google and its partners to show personalized ads may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state laws. You can opt out by clicking “Reject” in Cookie settings, by using Google Ads Settings, or by enabling Global Privacy Control. You also have the right to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email info@dangermma.com. We may need to verify your request. For information held by Google, please also use Google’s own tools linked above.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International visitors, retention and security
The Site and the services we use (including Base44 and Google) are based in or process data in the United States and other countries. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. We use reasonable measures to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
